NDPBs play a vital role in shaping public policy and delivering essential services across sectors such as health, culture, education, regulation, and infrastructure. They operate independently of government and provide fascinating opportunities to make a real impact as a non-executive director.
With over 200 NDPBs in the UK- from Ofqual to the Arts Council to the Committee on Climate Change – this is a hugely varied sector with a unique relationship with government.
This session will provide practical insight into what it is really like operating on an NDPB board — and how you can position yourself as a strong, credible candidate.
Join us to explore if an NDPB board would be right for your portfolio and get tips on how to secure the roles.
