After this, a transfer to another event will be given. This collaborative event brings together the International Women’s Forum UK and WB Directors, two leading professional women’s organisations, to showcase the diverse routes, challenges, and opportunities that define the modern NED journey.

Our expert panel will share candid insights across three distinct career phases:

  • Early Career NED: Breaking into your first board role – the appointment process, initial challenges, and key learnings
  • Mid-Career NED: Building expertise and expanding influence – developing your board portfolio and sector specialisation
  • Senior/Portfolio NED: Mastering multiple mandates – strategic leadership, committee chairing and succession planning

We’re delighted to be joined by Mary Agbesanwa, Nicolina Andall, and Elisabeth Stheeman, moderated by WB Directors CEO Fiona Hathorn, with an introduction by International Women’s Forum Chair Anne Minto OBE.
