Many still believe the boardroom is the preserve of accountants and lawyers. Whilst these skills remain important elements of strong governance, modern boards require non-executives with a wider range of professional expertise than ever.
At this session we will hear from two non-executives with marketing and tech
backgrounds respectively on how they secured their board positions. They will
explain the strategic relevance of their skills set, how they positioned themselves successfully for their board positions and any challenges faced along the way.
This virtual event is free to Full and Directors’ Circle members. It will also include an opportunity for Q&A and sharing experience with other members of our network, under Chatham House rule, in a supportive environment.
