Refunds for all our individual events are available if notice is given three business days prior by email or telephone, or one month prior to first session of our programmes. After this, a transfer to another event will be given. Cancellations on the same business day will not generally be eligible for a refund or transfer, however you may substitute someone to come in your place. In the case of exceptional circumstances let us know and we will consider a refund/transfer.
Missing out on an attractive board role at interview can be highly frustrating, and often comes down to the smallest of margins. Join us to get tips and tricks to help you clinch the roles that are right for you.
In this fast-paced session, Rachel Tranter, our co-founder and Director, will share her deep knowledge of what makes candidates succeed at board interview. Rachel has supported hundreds of Women on Boards members to prepare for interviews on all types of boards as well as sitting on public sector recruitment panels. She also has personal experience on ‘both sides of the fence’, as a board candidate and in subsequent recruitment.
As well as taking your questions and concerns, Rachel will take you through key points around:
Maximising your chances of getting to interview;
Presenting yourself as a non-executive candidate;
Researching the organisation and due diligence;
Honing your communications style at non-executive level;
How Women on Boards can help.
This session is a ‘must’ for those actively seeking both first and subsequent board roles.
Please note that this session is NOT recorded, to maintain delegate confidentiality.
