With many high-profile scandals hitting organisations of all types, crisis communications has risen up the risk agenda for many boards. The reputational damage, to individuals and organisations, can be significant and long-lasting.
As with many areas of risk, the key to mitigation is in preparation and planning to respond effectively and swiftly in a crisis situation. But what does a quality crisis communication strategy involve? How should boards, collectively and as individual directors, get involved? And what are the key points to keep in mind?
At this special event, Audley Advisors share their stress-tested strategies for effective crisis communications. They will cover both what to look for as a board in an organisational plan, and advice for individual non-executive directors to manage their reputational risk.
Towards the end of the session we will leave time for attendees to ask questions / discuss their own situation under the Chatham House rule.
