Sustainability is a key issue for boards today – but what expertise do you need on your board to give the oversight and strategic direction required?
Egon Zehnder will share their insight on the evolving requirements for sustainability expertise, based on their extensive board recruitment practice as a leading global search partner. There will also be ample opportunity for informal networking, both with your fellow Directors’ Circle community and senior leaders from Egon Zehnder.
During the evening Rachel De Renzy Channer, Global Head of Sustainability at Egon Zehnder will lead the discussion. She will update on the trends she sees in recruiting boards’ needs, as the regulatory and stakeholder landscape around ESG and sustainability matures. There will also be a chance to look at key takeaways from Egon Zehnder’s renewed paper on Board Stewardship, launched in September 2024.
This will be a key opportunity for both those with and without a sustainability background to discuss how this important area is managed on their boards, under Chatham House rule. There will also be informal time to connect over drinks and nibbles in a warm, friendly atmosphere.
