This event is designed for those in a position to realistically target the more competitive board roles, which usually involves senior experience in large and/or complex organisations.
What are non-executive recruiters looking for in a board candidate? What do they want to know about you? And how does your ‘pitch’ really come across?
This hour-long session is a chance to connect informally with leading headhunters working to source quality, diverse candidates for listed boards and other large, complex organisations (we expect you will meet 2 headhunters at the session). You will gain a brief insight into their work and receive supportive feedback on your ‘elevator pitch’.
After an introduction, you will then meet the headhunters in a small group via Zoom’s breakout rooms functionality. You will have the chance to practise introducing yourself succinctly (1 minute maximum, please!) as a prospective or actual board member, and receive feedback and advice where applicable.
Who should attend this webinar?
This session is suited for those who are actively targeting senior, competitive non-executive roles and/or looking to expand their headhunter connections. It is a chance to make informal connections with the headhunters participating, but more importantly to refine how to present yourself in future to recruiters as a (prospective or actual) board member.
