Judit Seymour

Judit’s career started as an insolvency law barrister and from there segued into financial services. She was the Chief Credit Office at Assured Guaranty UK and the Head of Credit Non-Core Markets at RBS. She is now an experienced Chair and Non-Executive Director with a portfolio that covers credit rating agency, NHS, emergency services and MoJ. 

Judit is the Chair at Scope Ratings, the first European credit rating agency competing with Moody’s, S&P and Fitch; Chair of the Performance Committee and Senior Independent NED at Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust a community and mental health Trust looking after 800,000 people from birth to end of life with over 200 services, budget of £360 million and 5,500+ employees; Vice Chair and Lay Member of the Advisory Committee at Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire Magistrates’ Courts responsible for recruiting magistrates and increasing diversity of the Bench; Independent Member of the Joint Audit Committee of Bedfordshire PCC and Chief Constabulary. Previously she was Vice Chair at the University of Bedfordshire and held Trustee roles at various charities.
