Understanding the difference between executive and non-executive leadership is crucial to the effectiveness of any board. But what does non-executive leadership look like in a charity context?

We explore with charity CEOs how they believe trustees can add value as board members. They will discuss what advice and input their value, and how the relationship with their board shapes their work. We will also touch on how board members must also hold CEOs to account, and how to manage this tension effectively.

This will be a valuable session for anyone new to trusteeship exploring the role, as well as experienced trustees getting a frank perspective from executive leaders outside their own charities.
