communities of influence

Your Circles of Support

As the UK’s most impactful NED network, we bring you even deeper networks of support for 2025 in specific board sectors.

With thanks to our community partners:
Our Circles of Support create closer communities to share learning, experience and opportunities within specific board sectors, and build closer connections with others in the field.

We are delighted to be working with selected partners to create these communities covering Financial Services; Listed and Large Companies; Public Sector Circle; and Charity Boards.

Each Circle brings together engaged groups of members serving on or with significant relevant experience in different board sectors and will become your ‘go-to’ resource for managing the challenges of your board role. Each Circle will run deep-dive sessions on sector-specific topics through a regular events programme (virtual and in-person). Our Circle’s informal networking and WhatsApp groups will provide the connections you need to ask for experience and advice on your latest boardroom challenges in a confidential, supportive space.

Led by our network members with deep experience on specific board types and supported by our Circle Partners sharing their expertise and insight, each Circle community will enable you to draw from the deep knowledge rooted within real world experience.

Our Circles of support are an additional service for our Full and Directors’ Circle members, launching for 2025. Our Public Sector and Charity Sector Circles are open to members current serving on or with strong relevant experience for these board types. Our Financial Services and Listed & Large Company Circles are open to those in our Directors’ Circle membership with experience of serving on relevant boards.

Each group involves a WhatsApp Community and six events, mixed between virtual and in-person. These sessions are shaped by each Circle’s Chairs and may include expert speakers, experienced NEDs and/or simply provide a chance to raise issues with your peers.

Please note, these are not introductory groups. If you are exploring non-executive opportunities for the first time, do look at our Resource Centre’s Sector Insights and monitor our Events programme for initial outlines of what is involved in boards of these types.

Our Circles are an additional service for our Full and Directors’ Circle members, part of our on-going commitment to supporting current board members to excel in the boardroom and build better boards.
