Refunds for all our individual events are available if notice is given three business days prior by email or telephone, or one month prior to first session of our programmes. After this, a transfer to another event will be given. Cancellations on the same business day will not generally be eligible for a refund or transfer, however you may substitute someone to come in your place. In the case of exceptional circumstances let us know and we will consider a refund/transfer.
Could you join a board? And more importantly, do you want to
Join us to hear more about how Women on Boards has helped thousands of members to start and shape their board careers over the past decade.
In this free introductory session, we will uncover the wealth of board opportunities in multiple sectors and encourage you to explore how a non-executive position can fit into your career journey – both in future and now.
What we do works.
We are the UK’s most impactful board community – supporting one member into the boardroom every day (on average) with a knowledge base and network built up for over a decade.
I could not have built my board career without you and the network. Anyone who is serious about being a non-executive director should be seeking and acting on your advice. It really works.”
Angela Henderson, portfolio NED
We will address many of the common concerns we know aspiring non-executive directors may have – around time, fees, legal risk and where to find the opportunities. This brief session will also touch on positioning yourself as a board-ready candidate, what really works when finding your first role and how Women on Boards’ tried and tested support can help.
It will also be a chance to ask your own questions and share experiences.
