Meetings are a key forum, not only to make your influence felt but also to establish yourself as a leader (potential or current!) . Yet women and those from other under-represented groups often struggle to be heard in meetings – both large and small.
At this one-hour session, we will share practical strategies to make your presence felt in meetings. This session is ideal for professionals at all career stages who would like to increase their impact in meetings. The actionable insights are applicable to all types of meetings – whether inter-departmental groups, client or stakeholder meetings and/or your first board meetings when taking on a trusteeship or other non-executive position.
Dr Malcolm McGregor will cover:
– why meetings matter
– how to prepare effectively
– making your points count
– dealing with challenge and/or disagreements
This virtual event is free to Full and Directors’ Circle members. It will also include an opportunity for Q&A and sharing experience with other members of our network, under Chatham House rule.
